About Healthy Works

Healthy Works is a component of the County of San Diego's Live Well, San Diego! initiative, a 10-year strategic vision for creating healthy, safe, and thriving communities. Healthy Works engages San Diego County residents, schools, businesses, and community leaders in systems and environmental approaches to create "Paths to Healthy Living." Although the initial Healthy Works grant period has ended, the work continues. A Community Transformation Grant from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention to the County of San Diego will continue building on many of the projects that you see on these web pages, while providing support for new projects improving our collective community wellness.
